Mission: To create a vibrant and sustainable food business incubator and commercial kitchen in Virginia’s Piedmont region.
Vision: To celebrate what is unique and best about our Piedmont region, while honoring Dr. George Washington Carver’s contributions to agriculture and education.
- Provide a shared use facility that will provide entrepreneurs an opportunity to develop and expand food and catering businesses;
- Develop a food-based economic engine that will produce jobs, retain local farmland and promote value-added production;
- Promote sustainable agriculture, job skills training, and technical assistance;
- Form strategic alliances with like-minded organizations to increase access to nutritious food to all
