Jump Start Your Food Startup
This workshop gives an overview of regulations for different types of food businesses and free and low-cost resources available to help businesses grow. Our next workshop is coming this spring, with a special focus on retail and value added products. Subscribe to our newsletter to get updates.

Current Good Manufacturing Practices
The Good Manufacturing Practices and Sanitation training is a requirement for folks looking to make consumer packaged goods for retail. The cGMP training guides businesses on creating food safety plans and receiving permits for production.
ServSafe Certification
An 8-hour Food Protection Manager Certification
developed by the Educational Foundation of the National
Restaurant Association.
Run by VCE, classes are offered quarterly.
