Teambuilding, Trainings, and Field Trips

As a hub of local food system work and agricultural services in the region, the Carver Center is the perfect setting for field trips, food safety training, corporate team building, cooking classes, hands-on farm-to-fork education, and local history. Our partnerships allow for a variety of options available to groups of any size. Come see and support the work we do!

Food Safety

Group Cohesion Through Cooking

Trust falls, and the human knot is against our food safety protocols. Still, we believe another great way to boost group cohesion and morale is by cooking together for the community. Using seasonal heavy harvests, a guest chef will lead your group through the preparation of a dish for a local food bank of your choosing. As you work together to chop vegetables and package up meals, we expect that you will also deepen relationships within your group.

For groups of 10- 20 participants, you must choose at least one extra hour of add-ons and we will split your group into two teams.  Everyone will be able to participate in the cooking and add-on activities.
